The Reid Technique of Investigative Interviewing® for Child Abuse Cases is a specialized three day program designed for anyone who investigates child abuse. Whether you are a Social Service Child Protection Worker, Police Officer, Prosecuting Attorney, Medical Personnel, or Counselor, this dynamic seminar is for you. The curriculum is designed to be beneficial for new and even the most experienced investigator. John Reid and Associates have trained over 300,000 investigators in the Reid Technique over the past 55 years. Seminar topics include: Understanding the Mind of an Offender; Investigative, Profiling and Behavioral; Provoking Questions; Behavioral Symptoms; The Reid Nine Steps of Interrogation®.
Each participant will receive a training manual, a certificate of completion and the Instructors’ book “How to Identify, Interview and Interrogate Child Abuse Offenders.” Light refreshments will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Lunch is on your own.

Who We Are…
The Lancaster County Children’s Alliance is the Children’s Advocacy Center for Lancaster County. Since 2006, the Lancaster County Children’s Alliance has served over 4300 children with allegations of abuse. LCCA has hosted a variety of trainings for the multidisciplinary investigative team of CACs since 2008. This is our 2nd time hosting John Reid Child Abuse Seminar.
